Since you've just gone 'skating'?

like not going to spots, doing tricks, blah blah blah. But just gone and rolled around for the sake of transportation/fun/excercise. I realized this morning its been years since i've 'just' gone rollerblading.

I'm going.

probably not since august, unless you count skiing, then last weekend.

I do that shit everyday going to the train station. No better way to start your day than furiously pushing, ollieing curbs and throwing a powerslide or two.

See i think that's one of the advantages of skateboarding. Much easier to use for transportation purposes. You just hop on, go to where you gotta go and hop off and boom, you're back to walking/normal ppl mode. If only they'd let me wear my skates at work. I would totally skitch the whole hour drive there!

I haven't skated in forever. College deadlines took over so I never had time.

Starting to show now, my waist line is drastically increasing.

I use to do it every day for work as transportation, it was around 8 blocks from my house.
Really enjoyed those days.

i cruised around once this week, and that's because the streets were dry, but there's a shitload of snow everywhere, so before this week, I haven,t actually got on a board since like november... I can't fuckin wait until the snow is gone though so I can finally get to shred my CRUISER (http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxs1kmPG3Z1r47aujo1_1280.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId =AKIAJ6IHWSU3BX3X7X3Q&Expires=1327874072&Signature=MG5J6joCp%2BXodzKxk%2BwNPpjLapg%3D) every single day :)

In the summers I do that probably 3-4 times a week, just restless and going out to push and just roll. Now during the winter I can't do that, the streets are covered in snow.

I don't really ever go out skating thinking that I'm gonna land some certain trick, I just roll around for the love of it. I might stop at some spot while rolling around, practice some tricks for a while and then keep rolling.

I never plan like "Now I'm gonna go to the skatepark and land this and that", I just go "Let's go to the skatepark, meet some people and roll around and have fun".

Good times..

i wish i had a backyard mini, that would be the shit. I have a shitload of fun riding parks, but I just love messing around on a mini ramp, even though I'm not good at it. I just have fun and like the feeling of riding one

For sure,Boxer.Nothing beats the feeling of just pumping back and forth, almost kinda weightlessness.I could just carve around for hours not doing a single trick and be so happy.
Damn, now I really want to build a mini

hahaha yeah I get you man, I'd love to have the chance to build one. Living in an apartment in the city blows for the fact I can't build anything big in a backyard

because i dont live in the heaven tht is america, the roads in my area are completely unskaetable. its not a smooth surface like you would know... its like loads of little pebbles and gravel. also no sidewalks within a few miles so skating as a means of transport is impossible for me. last time i went to the skatepark was probably september.

I cruise around whenever It's dry enough. I have to at least touch my cruiser once a day ;p

and a backyard mini is my dream.. I almost got my parents convinced a couple of years ago, but than they finally decided against it :(

When I was younger it was every day alll day. Go to school then skate, work then skate.. Now I hardly get on but did just yesterday for about 20 mins. until the neighbors started coming outside wondering why that grown person is on a skateboard. haha!

fuck yeah! that's sick haha I used to skate all day everyday as well, after school, back when I didn't work. Now I work during the morning and work on the evenings, so I hardly ever have any time to skate... I got weekends off though, so I try to skate then when i can
