Just wanted to give you all a heads up that the Scroll of Resurrection
has been changed in World of Warcraft to really benefit anyone with
a default account. If you have had a paid subscription before 3/6/2012,
then you are eligible for a scroll if it is no longer active.

The new benefits of the scroll are this:
1) Free Upgrade to Cataclysm Expansion (No matter what the previous
expansion you had on the account was you will now get all expansions
up to and including Cataclysm added to your account for free.)
2) A character of your choice on the account will be automatically
leveled to 80 and given level appropriate gear to help you start leveling
through Cataclysm content.
3) You will get a free Server/Faction transfer for a character to
the server of the friend who resurrected you. If I were to send you one
you'd be allowed a free transfer to Lightninghoof - Alliance from
any other server.
4) 7 Days of Unlimited Play with no account restrictions.

The perk of someone activating their account for the Referrer is
that the Referrer would receive a Celestial Mount for their account.
On Horde side this is a Celestial Wind Rider and on Alliance it
would be a Celestial Gryphon.

I know some of you aren't playing, quite a few of you are, a handful
of you have extra accounts not active atm, and a couple I am unsure
of your current status. Personally I say not to let this new Scroll pass
you by simply because you are being given all of the expansions you
may be missing without having to pay for them or stay after the 7 days
is up. Some of you might want to get friends you know back with this
incentive or help one of your own accounts get a mount and boost the
other account.

*IF* anyone wants me to send them a Scroll of Resurrection just
drop me a PM with your character's name and server. Character
Name/Server I am guessing is whichever one you considered your
Main on that account. I can also send Scrolls using your Real ID
name and registered email if you'd rather use that.

Later all. Hope you come back even if it is only for the expansion
incentive, give me a cool Celestial Mount, or get yourself a cool
Celestial mount.

WoW losing people to SW:TOR, fearing the upcoming release of
Guild Wars 2, and Mists of Pandaria to be released in a few months
has made them edgy at trying to get people back. Take advantage
of it while you can.

Also, I can send invites if you are not interested in Lightninghoof
Alliance side from Horde side Ravenholdt and Winterhoof. These
are all US servers.

Free expansions, eh? I might take one, i haven't played in a year or so tho. I'll have to look up my server/character name. I think i was horde side. Can't remember which server tho. the expansions are like a $100 value tho.

Yeah, even if you don't plan to come back and stay it's still nice to have the free expansions if you do decide to return.

Sounds cool.. But I have finally quit wow for good after like 6 years of playing with a few month's break here and there. Almost everyone I know has quit as well, so I don't see a point in me starting again :P

I think it is a good thing just to get the free expansions and bonuses even if people don't stay after 7 days.
As for WoW overall it is just a tool I use until Guild Wars 2 comes out. :)

All I can say is that Vanilla wow and BC was the best hands down. Rest was utter shit.

I definitely agree, but I am more of an extremist in that I didn't care for BC.
BC raiding I found too easy and pvp-wise I only enjoyed the Isle of Quel'Danas.
Ulduar has still been the only challenging Raid imo since OG Naxx.

During BC I had some absolutely fantastic arena moments. Almost made gladiator on my rogue.. think my 2v2 team was like 50 points off, and my 3v3 like 70 points off. Had my best time raiding in BC as well. Mostly because I was in a guild called LMFKJ that just started when Isle of Quel'Danas came out, and absolutely everyone hated that guild. Saying that we wouldn't be able to kill KJ before the best alliance guild at the time etc. Guess what happened?.. We did it lol. And most of us used blue gear when we first killed Illidan in BT which was like a month or so before Sunwell came out.

Fantastic moments!

I did a lot of Arena (Only do it now to cap each week), but I still hate the format.
In 2's I've done 2200, 3's 1900, and 5's 2500 over the years. It's all fotm meta which annoys me.
The new RBG's are a lot of fun and remind me of doing the HWL push back in Vanilla.
Isle of DQ was the most fun thing out of BC and the last world PvP that WoW had.

Never did any RBG's unfortunatelly, even though the last couple of month's I was in a pretty good pvp guild.. Would've been fun trying that out though.
Yeah in 2's we were around 2400~, 3's 2300~. Was great fun playing as H.A.R.P in 2's with a frost mage.. Totally dominated everything. Played RWD iirc in 3's which worked out quite ok as well.

HARP rocked back in the day. I ran it with Disc Priest for 2's and Disc Priest/Aff Lock for 3's.
It was so retard easy bursting people down.

Heh, it is pretty entertaining how each game has their own language.
