The GNAR Mag, a new addition to the Skate 3 world

The GNAR Mag is a new magazine in the Skate 3 community, as you can probably tell.
Now, before I begin I would like to state that the GNAR mag in no way is a rival of Likebutter Mag or any other current skate magazine or website for that matter.
We simply thought to ourselves, "hey, the skate community needs a Thrasher type mag".
and that is exactly what we are, we are a magazine based off of the idea of Thrasher mag, much like you might say Likebutter is based off of the idea of Transworld mag or maybe even the Skate mag....

Either way, the idea is simple, we are the skate 3 thrasher.

Now, I know some of you may be hesitant. We've all been around LB for so long, it's hard to adapt. I'm not saying you should leave LB and join GNAR, I am simply saying that if you agree with what we're doing and want to try out a new mag, feel free...www.theGNARmag.com (http://thegnarmag.com)
If we gain a little more popularity and activity, we will invest in a new domain, as of now we figured this would be fine.

Irish I remember when you showed me a magazine cover you created with one of my photos.
So I know you can do some legitimate stuff.
I'm excited about the concept mostly, the EA Skate 3 Thrasher. And you're right...

Lb is the Skateboard Mag really. It's a clean, delicate, hipster helvetica neue type of Magazine.
Gnar is PUNK rock, fast, mean, etc.
It's fun to have those two styles translated from real life (Thrasher, Skateboard Mag)
...to our own S3 community versions (Gnar, Lb Mag). Great idea.

I like the aesthetic of the site. The logo looks hot, and the main page isn't too confusing.
Down the road you should definitely find ways to make the site easier to explore.

And I completely support that! But S3 is the tinyest thing keeping me here. I spend more time in the off.topics thread than anywhere else. So if S3 servers were to shut down tomorrow, I still had my E-home here on Fluckit with all these amazing people I've met over many years.

I was going to contribute stuff, but didn't really get down with the "you can't be invovled unless you join and post in my forum" stuff. Should've just kept it as a indy type mag that could be used across various s3 sites. Anyways the couple issues I saw were dope so that sucks. :(
