Looks good and any skate fans should take a read he has a few more posts on there that are alright as well. its a bit old but Seems like he could be talking sense and maybe there is a skate 4 in the near future. All us skate fans can all but hope that this is true.

I had posted it on the ea forums but it got deleted twice :confused: and everytime i put it up it keeps getting deleted so i see this as a sign that EA are taking it down to keep anyone from knowing that they are in the making of the new skate but just taking there time.

i wouldnt jump to saying no there have been rumors that they are just taking their time rather than releasing one each year and it not being that good, they will pace themselvs and take 2-3 years to make it.

Why would they be deleting this link and any talk of skate 4 on the forums if they wernt going to make another game it just doesnt make any sense what so ever

SSX was one of the best games around back in its time. People just think it is generally better than skate. Popilarity wins. That's why they made a new one. SSX never got bad comments on their website. Skate did, and thats part of the reason there will almost certainly be no skate. 4.

true but you still got to have a bit of faith, i think they did go downhill with skate3 so maybe it would be a good idea for a fresh team to work on it. Hopefully they will be doing something anyway would suck if it was lost forever.

Exactly what I was trying to say. A majority of people think SSX is much more fun than Skate, but I definitely prfer Skate. SSX gets no where near as many douchebags posting stupid stuff on their forums as skate did/does.

My opinion? Although SSX is damn good, the skate series is pretty damn fucking awesomely awesome. And better.

My theory is that until the next gen systems start coming out EA has no plans to make a skate game, however with new and better consoles to make games for i reckon they could revisit it.

Shaun white is fun for about 10 minutes, but gets real old. Everything is too easy. :/

Yeah i still play it now and then on my Wii's virtual console. Kinda limited on tricks but you cant beat the landings in that game, both having the land button and needing to be precise on your angle on impact. Wish Skate incorporated something like that.

I've played both 1080 Snowboarding and Amped 2, and Amped 2 takes the win. Soooooo much fun playing amped. The last Amp they came out with was the worst though lol
