I just started painting this in a studio downtown. I've put in about 3 hours-ish so far, it should be done in a week or so.

On a side note, I might look like a goober for asking but I just breezed through the story mode of S3 when it first came out and have been freeskating ever since, but I don't remember the Deer Man being in the actual story anywhere, what's the deal with him?

I remember him being towards the beginning when you meet Lizard King and TK in the Carverton Quarry. You only see him for like 5 seconds and he's skating the barriers my the banks. Weak introduction in my opinion, he's such a rad dude haha.

Forreal? siiick. I've gotten a few offers. I was originally gonna do 30 bucks, which is a steal, but it's gonna take a lot more work than I thought so I might do double that.

Here's an update on the painting. I put another 1 1/2 hours into it yesterday. Deer Man is a bitch to paint haha.

I found the left arm's detail strange in comparison to the right
with all the ripples, it's an insane amount of detail and respect for putting in work
If it's not meant to be abstract maybe think about that and proportion, the board is a little off.
It's a cool piece. I like it, just keep Progressing.

I feel like I really wanted to sell it to someone who could fully appreciate the value of it, like a true skater or skateboard enthusiast. Right now it's on it's way to a state gallery, and people are just gonna ho-hum at it because it not "real artsy" hipster shit like everyone paints now. So I wanted it in the hands of a die hard haha. Thanks a bunch though, for real.

Oh also it's in a Fisheye distortion, thats why the proportions look 'off'. It's referenced from a real skate photo.

My only question is how did you manage to be in nearly the identical pose for the front and back photos, like literally the differences in your hand positions and body is miniscule, it tripped me out hardcore at first. I was convinced you used the same photo and just swapped the front and back out haha, so I carefully analyzed it till I saw some differences....too high.
