best way to copy skate.reel to pc??

I'm buried deep in the world of new san van, recording my ass off, just downloaded some bootleg sony vegas pro and only just thought..... what is the best way to maintain high resolution skate.reel footage???

oh and p.s. i dont have a t.v capture card.

Also a good oppourunity to throw it out there, this community kicks ass, the creativity and general chat is inspirational. It gets me out there skating every day... keep up the good work.

personally after dowloading the flv, I convert it to dvd format then rip the vob into mpeg4 which I then load into premiere..
there are quite a few flv convertors out there, it's just a question of compression when converting and finding the best format for the software you're using..then it's a question of the compression when rendering the final footage...you can't make HD movies without a capture card, upscaling the flv which are native 640*480 even to 720p (1280*720) will blur you final image..the only thing to remember is don't compress until you have to...hope that helps you
