Exo there are some out there. I did mine in Vegas. Its called Masking. Should be plenty of tutorials on the tube.

Here are a couple of After Effects DOF tests I created by separating the clip into multiple 3d layers, placing a camera in the scene, and animating the DOF. I did these about 2 years ago and never really applied it to anything. My MO with skate videos is to make stuff and never release it. Once I realize something is possible and figure out how to execute it, I'm kinda over it, and forget about it. I'm an idiot like that.
