I've applied to partnerships but haven't confirmed one yet.

i know for sure i can choose wat thumbnail i want (thumbnail being frame from the vid)

but idk about me able to putting any random thumb nail(custom)

You can select 3 different thumbnails that youtube assign for you. But if you are partnered with youtube, you can make any thumbnail you want.
