Brett got this uploaded about 5hrs ago or so and I just got home so I wanted to go
ahead and share it with you guys. It's a new Kilian Martin short and shows some
very cool tricks and trick sequences. It's not as breathtaking from a technical stance
as some of the previous work, but it does has some nice moments. The sequence
starting at 2:40 is my favorite. It does however use far too many double board tricks
for my liking so it's my least favorite video they have done so far. I do applaud the
environment choices though for some very creative objects to skate.

Damn it fuckin Kilian man.
Love the guy but I hate him too haha
He always makes me want to step up my flatground game.
540 Manual spins is the best I can do so far, on a GOOD day.
I've still yet to figure out slide nosegrabs without a step off on flat.
He does it so easily. Throws it into sequences.
It's a pretty minimal trick without the combos but I've been trying to perfect it for a while.
Double board stuff was just as impressive to me.
Hippie jump, off board to manny back to board. Such a great idea.
Even if it isn't your taste in style, These things aren't that easy.
Not directed at anyone but just saying
I respect this guy and dig it as I do enjoy some similar things when Skating lately.
Some of it may seem like simple ideas but it can take a WHILE to get the simple things right.

Primo to crooked and that ender - these are just a couple of the mindboggling things to me. Very much enjoyed this concept and edit as well

Yup, I had this conversation with Brett this morning.
I don't like double (or more) board tricks as I consider them "gimmicks".
However, I do recognize that they require ability to do and I never speak against the skill required.
My issue is with the masses trying to play off these circus stunts as legit tricks.
However, I'll leave that horse dead for the time being.

Meh, I agree with falling, some of the stuff I've seen from him before was more impressive, some of these tricks just seemed goofy and shouldn't even of been included, I think there's a fine line between amazing tricks and ridiculous and he's not always on the good side.

It will likely be argued for a long time to come..
I say it's just how you perceive what's being done.
I have not seen double board tricks done often.
I don't see what the gripe is personally.
Landing on flat or landing on a board, still rolling away.
I guess I've done tricks that might actually be considered tricks in the past
just didn't really cut it for me though. Where's the thought process, The Creativity? Originality..
I enjoy seeing bangers once in a while but what is it really broken down?
Dialing in a fliptrick/grind variation, Throwing yourself down a set until you get it?
Obviously not changing anyone's opinions just saying..
Skateboarding is just skateboarding to me. If a video took skill I usually enjoy it
not dependent on whether or not it is something everyone can do or has done.
Not classifying one thing better than another or dismissing creative ideas done differently.
Not trying to rad on anyone either just breaking things down, My perspective.

I think this is easily the best edit Brett has done. All the other ones seemed gimmicky and douchey.

This one really captured the emotion and creativity, with the angles and music. Plus that rotating cut...fuck that was beautiful.
