What is Web Browser ?

Yooo this became topical to me so I got pretty interested.


So...what browser you guys use. I used to use explorer until beginning of 2012. Tried Opera and Firefox, didn't like them so I kept going with Explorer.
Then I found Chrome. It crushed Explorer...only reason I go back to Explorer every now and then is because I need some old bookmarks and favourites hahah.

But yes, this is the main thing; Two (or three) days back I downloaded browser called TORCH (http://torchbrowser.com/) and damn...it really was worth it ! It's based on chrome but they added loads of abilities those were created excactly "for me". Totally recommending it to everyone.


So, what is your choice ? Why it is your choice ?

It works on all walks of life. Just about anything wrong fixed with add-ons. What's not to like.

I used firefox until it got as slow as IE, now I use chrome, still use it. simply the best browser. on my phone I use boat browser, I've tested chrome on that, didn't work the way it works on a pc..

i use chrome only because i run a plugin on my macbook that lets me hide the menubar that isn't compatible with firefox for whatever reason. if it wasn't for that i'd switch to firefox since it uses way less resources

I use Internet Explorer 10 for pretty much everything.
Only switch I do is to use Chrome on certain media as it seems to handle some videos better.
Torch is just a bloated Chrome so I see no reason to use it.
Firefox has been shit for years now. It was good however back around IE 8 or so.
Opera is only really worth a damn for mobiles.

I do tons of surfing on foreign sites so that is a big thing for me.
IE since IE 9 has been the most stable in that regard in my experiences.

For basic net usage it doesn't really matter what you use because once you start
putting tons of addons into them they all become bloatware.

Got Firefox.

Found it crashing a lot on my XP.

Went to chrome. No more crashed. Got a new comp got chrome again out of habit. I'd look into torch but I dont use ad ons. Not even sure what ad ons you guys are talking about that is so good. I got chrome with my bookmarks toolbar. Use that a fuck load so its all I need

chrome. . . haven't had any pop ups or stupid shit with it, runs pretty fast and although torch does look better, all my book marks (passwords to which I do not know what they are) and other shit is on chrome ha
