So this park creator thing for this game must be pretty fucking expansive. Planks. Not ramps. Planks.

I can't fucking wait. Players can make their own ramps, terrain etc. Wouldn't be surprised if they announced more.

I should really make an official thread containing all information and screenshots so far.

Still, that's fucking cool.

This park editor is starting to remind me a lot of far cry's and that's awesome.
Haven't seen any game even compete with far cry, in that aspect.

Well to be fair, these guys aren't working under the harsh limitations of a major dev, let alone EA.
That's actually a major point they made in their intro video, saying as an indie team they're able to do everything they want to do, and take it as far as they want. They can go as realistic as they want, and perfect it as much as they want before release, without having to worry about the corporates telling them what's wrong

Still has to fit on a disk... or a reasonable amount of Harddrive space if it's digi download.

reasonable shmeasable. I'll take a 10 gig download if that means they don't limit themselves. The only limit is the fact that they're going for XBLA/PSN also

It really looks great. Does anyone know if they mentioned having a replay editor feature in the game?

I don't know much about BMX, and I'm not really interrested in it, but man, if they put a replay editor, I'm sold.

Someone in our community asked them, I think it was ladd, about a replay editor and I believe they said they'll try to incorporate it.
I browsed through the suggestions off their site and didn't see even one person suggest it though, out of the first 5 pages. I did see this, however, and it is the best suggestion for the game so far!

I mean, at least for me, without a replay editor and afc I prolly wouldn't drop to much on this.

They pull this terrain creator off with a skate like replay editor and it's a $60 game easy

thats insane

as an indie game with all this, I dont expect the stock game world to be very big. But with a terrain and object editor like this its virtually endless

I imagine it'll be a series of areas, similar to THPS levels, judging by how all they have now is the Nike Tunnel and they wanna know what spots people want them to make

Yah Probably. Gonna miss cruising around the whole world map tho. Then again s3 was split up into parts. They'd probably get real good detail in their locations.

Im pretty sure there will be a replay editor. It would be stupid to leave that out and go so far with the terrain editor

If you got a Move controller you get to drive the nails in the boards too..

Cant help but think its promotional only, or that planks only fit in certain places, like in the first pic.

But then again, if it turns out its legit, godspeed all park creators.

Piece editor, terrain editor, this is something we bike riders been waiting for so long, of course you may know that atleast 80% of the bmx riders with PS3/XB360 have a copy of atleast one EA Skate release, since is the closest to real life every day simulation we have.

I hope the terrain/pieces editor gets to the point where we can do these...
