My band needs a graphic for our pins and I'd be stoked if Fluckit made it!

So, I'm in a new band called Viewfinder and we're like 90s, fuzzy, shoegazey, Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr-ness and we're ordering some pins this coming weekend and we've come up with a few graphics ourselves but I wanted to give you guys a chance to participate if you wanted.

The diameter is 1 inch, round pin (like what da punx put on their denim jackets) and I can't pay you, but I will send you some of the pins if you give me your address and we can give you a custom user title if you don't have one already. I'll give you a free copy of our LP when it comes out to.

The pin just needs to say our band name somewhere on it (Viewfinder) and some things we like are the 90s, Trailer Park Boys (Bubbles), pizza, and BBQ but you can make it whatever you want.

Let me know if you guys have any questions, I hope some of you take part in it! We'll be giving them away to people at shows, so you'll have your graphic on dirty hippies, on the floor somewhere when someone dropped it, on a backpack, and maybe even in space but definitely on dirty kids from North Carolina.

Thanks! Just submit them here or you can PM them to me if you want. Deadline is Friday though! Also, you can make them black and white if you want, it's cheaper for us but if you feel like color is needed, I don't mind coughing up a little extra cash for them.

Still have the full sized original. I just decided to up the pin sized version. Though I probably should of upped both.

the dimensions might be the size of the pin but the resolution isnt big enough for print.

Your screen only shows 72dpi (dots per inch)

but if your going to print something, for it to look quality, it has to be 300 dpi

if u have the large original. you can change the size in photoshop in image size. it will make the dimensions smaller tho. Hopefully when you do that it would still be big enough for the pin

These rule so far! We might just use them all, we'll be ordering pins fairly often as we just give them away most of the time.

no disrespect to razor. his just isnt big enough. the new one he posted it 1 inch at 300 dpi but he didnt leave room for bleed.

Yeah, apparently our pin dude is giving us a better template for future pins, so if people are interested in doing future ones I can supply that. We have so far just been compensating for the lip of the pin. We will probably order 200 of each graphic and once that's gone, discontinue it and move to another graphic, so we will probably try to use everyone's eventually and I'll just let everyone know and send some to you guys.

We don't have anything recorded yet, we're recording a little EP over the summer, we've got about six songs so far and are writing more.

I do have a video from one of our first practices, but we didn't have a PA that day so there are no vocals, but you're welcome to take a listen. Our first show is tomorrow night so hopefully someone records it. Here's the vid, I'm on geetar, John's on bass, and Mike's on drums:

Did you guys play up at Boone with Ghost Cat, Stop Motion, and Always Wanted War?
I have some friends who perform all around, but they tend to perform mostly at Somewhere Else Tavern in Greensboro, NC.
However, they do play other slots in Wilmington, Thomasville, Winston-Salem, Charlotte, and Raleigh here in NC as well.
Music ranges from Electronica, Blues Rock, Space Fuzz, Metal, Hardcore, and Grindcore mostly.

I somewhat stay in the loop of local music, but not as much as I used to.
Used to play in local bands myself years ago, but arthritis makes the hands not so good these days.
I played drums for "Halfpipe" (Bad Religion/Samiam - Punk), Guitar/Vocals for "Black Lake" (Testament/Slayer - Metal), and Guitar/Vocals/Drums for another half dozen garage wonders (Punk -> Metal -> Grunge -> etc). =)

A good friend of mine Chris is the Bassist for "Flea Market Hot Rod", Drummer for "Lifemare", and is solo in "Painslave X". (Greensboro/Thomasville area) [Blues Rock, Hardcore, Grindcore, Techno, etc]
Another friend Billy is the Guitarist for "Scrap" and was the Guitarist for "Kiowa Rising". (Wilmington area) [Metal, Punk]
A few friends (Monica, Stan, Baron) are in "Searcher" and "Red Mud Reunion". (Thomasville area) [Gospel, Country, Metal, Rock, etc]
Plus, my Aunt (Brenda) is with the band "Southern Justice". (Asheboro area) [Bar Band - Top 40, Country, Southern Rock, etc]
Even have several friends in Bluegrass Ensembles and Folk Groups around the Triad.

Back in High School and College I used to be at shows from NY/DC down to Atlanta/Orlando/Miami. Had quite a few friends at App
in the early/mid 90's so used to watch lots of shows in that area as well.
