Skate.Reel Shutdown Protest @ Vancouver EA HQ. Come join the fun!

Well first off, I am pissed they are shutting down .Reel, but EVEN MORE pissed that the website is not working, so even with a nice 1 month notice, i STILL can't download my amazing clips I have worked so hard to make.

So I am making a sign, rolling some joints, and going down to EA HQ tomorrow to protest both the shutdown of the .Reel servers, and the website not working so I can't download my clips.

Maybe it will be in vain, maybe they will AT LEAST get a tech guy on the website issue so we can make use of .Reel until April 29th.

But yea, if you live near Vancouver, come join me at the EA HQ, located in Burnaby, bring a snack and water, we will be out there from noon til 4-5. I don't care that it will probably be just me, 1 person is better than no one......

If you do not live anywhere near Vancouver, Canada, at least give me some good ideas for signs, this affects EVERYONE, thanks

... and I'm setting up a lawn chair at the gated entrance so everyone who works there will see my sign. Maybe JUST maybe someone will be like hey, maybe we should fix that glitch in the website so people can upload their videos before we destroy this service forever.

Some of them will though. I'm sure the people at EA will be laughing at the 1 lone guy with a protest sign out front, and word will spread around the office, there's got to be a chance someone with web development/tech department will get my message.

I only play Skate 2, but yea there hasn't been any new uploads since Feb 1 on the website, none of the videos I made in the past month have gone to the website either.

offer homeless people a 40oz each and get a horde of them with signs to go with you. it would only cost about 40 bucks for a group large enough to out power the people trying to break up your protest. don't give them molotov cocktails though they will just drink them and throw the empty bottle.
