For those who don't know me, I enjoy creating the Street League Parks, I've created every single one so far, the reason why I'm posting these ones now instead of last year is because I wasn't part of this website last year, and also I have gameplay footage of all of them on my YouTube channel

I find it funny that you placed bleachers in front of bleachers (ones prebuilt into the stadium lot) haha.
Nothing against your parks here, just an ironic observation.

Street league is everything except what skateboard needs

Skateboarding should be for everyone to enjoy and needs to stay relevant in society. The more money that is pumped into skateboarding the better. Yes, the corporations may cheese it up a bit and produce stuff that is "lame", but there will always be that stuff anyways. There are basketball courts on every corner because basketball is fun, popular, and it generates a lot of business. Have you not noticed the huge increase in skate parks over the last few years since the berrics and street league have come on to the scene? Just saying.

The parks look good man!

They're all oversized, I've played them before but they're fairly accurate. Also SL is doing a lot of great things for skateboarding, as Fully said, anytime something comes out that allows skaters to make money and enjoy themselves doing something they love, there's no negativity in that.

Skateboarding is not basketball, basketball only needs a court, skateboard do not need skateparks which are all the same. I'd rather drink 1000 beer in my dirty street alone than one of your f***in Monster on a skatepark full of scooters and skaters dressed like chaz ortiz... But that´s my opinion i will not change, and i respect yours (a little)

Not to be rude, but I don't respect yours at all because it makes no fucking sense! The streets will always be there. Why not have million $ skateparks to skate around every corner? (give me justifiable reason) Skateparks give people the ability to do what they love whenever they want to do it. It allows us to practice a trick and then take it to an aesthetically pleasing street spot and turn it into art. What is wrong with that, man?

Why not give the people that put blood, sweat, and tears into skateboarding the ability to actually support their family by doing the thing they love? (Again, justify your opinion with reason and an insightful/informed perspective).

Anyway, I think your "opinion" is of the same substance of "opinions" that attribute to a great deal of bullshit in this world. It sounds to me like your issue with streetleague is founded on a distorted view of what makes skateboarding "cool"....I.E...the fact that most people don't think it's cool. You have an old dog perspective and it's time to learn some new tricks. :p

I've been around skateboarding a few years shy of 30.
I remember the old days when pros didn't make shit for money, most having to work a full time job and be a pro skater.
if shit like SL helps makes sure these guys can keep getting paid, more power to it.
if it helps skateparks get built so kids that maybe don't have access to legit street spots can skate..even better.

In ny opinion, as i told you, and as you told me, skateboarding is an art (sport too but art before!). If all the skaters are doing the same tricks with the same wear in the same skatepark, so skateboard isn't an art anymore! i had a skateboard friend that skated with us every day. Since this shitty skatepark whas built, this friend can not skate anymore in the street because street spots are dirty.
Otherwise, in my country, bringing a new skatepark in a city means forbid skate on the entire city, build some fucking stop skates... And all this shit for a stupid little skatepark without any ledge, rail, pole jam, or anything else which could be original!

In my city i'm president of an association for skateboard, and we are not working to get the same skatepark than everyone. We are actually searching good street furnitures to design our own spot, and i think that is largely better!

Wanna skate street, skate street. Wanna skate parks, skate parks. Easy as that!

A lot of skaters are so stuck on this "keeping it real, not selling out"-bullshit, only seeing the negative aspect of things. I wish more skaters would be more open to things and see the positive aspects.

Skaters being able to support their families fully and just skate all the time, can you imagine what a dream that would be? Not having to go to some shitty job and just being able to skate maybe a few times a week. These contests and shit let these skaters do that. I don't think many skaters could support their families (wife/girlfriend and kids) with only sponsor-money, except if you're Janoski and get that Nike SB Janoskis-money :D

Anyhow, learn to look on things more positive and don't be so closeminded. You have the rights for your own opinions, but in a argument/discussion you should look at things from the both sides and not let this "bringing a new skatepark in a city means forbid skate on the entire city"-thing affect your mind and make you hate on ALL skateparks and such. Every place doesn't react as your town. In my town we have a incredibly good skatepark, also a DIY-skatepark on a old tennis-court which these people let us have if we don't fuck it up too bad. And streetskating here is no problems, no skatestoppers and no sketchy people kicking us out or so. People might be pissed/disturbed sometimes, but we just approach them with respect and in most times they respect us back.
