First time merge glitch user

I started working on a park a few nights ago. So far it's going really well. Beautiful indoor park that brings the outdoors inside. I wanted to start out and lay down my framework/main area without the merge glitch to ensure smoothness and then pop the glitch on to fine tune some details (stairs, bowl, wiring on the wall, etc). However when I went to go use the glitch I found that I can't acces my DLC with it turned on and in turn can not edit my park. Is this a common problem that someone can walk me thru? Am I S-O-L and just have to complete this with no glitch? Should I be looking for someone who can use the DLC with merge glitch to finish off my park?

Here are a few pictures for you guys. I need a tester or two to check all my obstacles. I feel I've done a good job testing it...but you never know how people will use what you made differently. Anyway if anyone is interested in testing it for me let me know and we'll work it out. Also I might be in the market to join an online team so I can share my park when it's complete. I had the same problem i had an xbox rrod on my new one i had to delete and redownload all dlc. you might be albe to do a content transfer if you are on a different xbox than when you downloaded the dlc.

When you deleted and redownloaded your dlc did you have to complete all your challenges again to unlock the CAP items?

which park base did you use? Because I did it the other night, and picked the backyard lot, and It would let me access it because it is dlc. started over with plain downtown, and it worked fine.

I started it in Team HQ lot. If I can figure out a way I will throw up some pictures for you guys soon.

try changing your clothes after you do it, that may work. or do a challenge.

No you shouldn't have to redo anything that should be in your save it will all be there when you re download.

You have to licence transfer it the dlc if you bought it on a different xbox.

I forgot I bought this xbox a year ago. I had transfered my digital ownership but HAD NOT re-downloaded my DLC to update my xbox. Re-Downloaded my DLC and problem solved. Now I'm merging like the pros!!! Thanks guys for all the advice and help. Now if I can figure out how to make this bowl work you might see this park within the week or so.

Feeling really awesome about the park so far. Got a sweet SL esque stair/bank area, banging manny pad, and a sewer bank bowl....all in an indoor park with walls designed to look like buildings. I'll admit I'm having some issues getting my "building" walls to look realistic without using the premade SOHO buildings and also a slight problem with getting a good copping for my round edges on my sewer bowl....and I'm definitely in the red lol. Sucks with .reel being gone or I would throw up some pictures but if you builders have any suggestions to help out I would be eternally grateful. I've made parks in the past but this is my most cherished yet.


I really really really don't wanna upload it till it's a bit more polished....but if someone wants to party play there tomorrow or something we could arrange that as well or I might have to upload it privately. Not sure yet but any coping, building, and space saving tips are highly appreciated.

Holy shun that looks like its fun! You have very creative ideas that are sometimes make me feel like a believer of humanity still striving to the ultimate level of understanding. Sometimes we feel like another brick in the wall. We are not different than anyone else. But every time we try something new, it just slips away. Almost like a rolling stone! So this park helps me understand the meaning of life, and living. It is just so detailed and it looks very intensely fun. I am starting to believe you deserve the crown of ellis!

Blitz- Means alot coming from an established park builder like yourself, but don't be afraid to throw that criticism in there brother. I'm always looking to improve.
