The MKI Is a fisheye. The VX1000 is the camera itself. The vx1000 with a Century optics Mark 1 (MKI) Fisheye is the classi skateboard filming setup.

Goddamn, really clean filming dude, especially if it's your first time. Fs Shuv Bs Nosegrind was hella proper. Props!

How much did it cost for your set up out of curiosity?

Ya ive been filming for almost a year now. I also have a Panasonic DVX 100p with an Opteka 72mm Death Lens, Got my VX with the MKI two batteries and a hard case for 1000$ straight up. I was really happy with the price actually concidering the MkI lens is literally in mint condition.

Damn, that's sick dude! 1000$ seems like a fairly good price for all that. The inconvenient part about VX's though are tapes... that's one of the only reasons why I went for a canon t2i because it's just so much easier to use SD cards and saves you money in the long run. I just subbed to your channel though, looking forward to more clips.

Good stuff, and good for you for getting that setup.
I recently got a new video setup too but non-tape. Still got to film SD since my crappy pc wont handle hd files altho I'm happy with how sd, 4:3 ratio and the baby death lens look with my cx110 setup.

still gotta fix some stuff like de-interlacing my footage, will pm you sometime regarding this.
