sup boys. ive been seriously getting into vinyl and skratch and stuff recently. my uncle has a room dedicated to it with decks, and several thousand records, which he lets me use whenever im in that part of this small country. I have some of my fathers vinyl which i love and i have a few of my own records too, mostly classic hip hop stuff, but i was just wondering if there's any other vinyl-heads here. Engage.

P.S. i dont have my own player/deck set, any advice, rough price ranges, yada yada...

Dude just start looking around haha
you'll find what you're wanting I'm sure.
They've got the classic bulky entertainment center style ones..
and then there's more modern ones with radio:
I have a modern one.

I've not started a collection of my own yet, same, dad has a huge selection.
I only own one record right now.

i think he wants one compatible with scratching etc. like a Technics 12xx or something similar (stanton, numark...), and some shure needles. i have an old school jaun i use for getting samples off of vinyl but it wouldn't work for anything he's interested in.

make sure you get a direct drive

edit: a ROUGH price range would be around a grand, give or take...but there's deals out there
