man, i was just thinkin a few days ago that i wished there was a new version of Friday the 13th from NES. no gameplay footy but im excited as shit for this gem

any release date? nov 13th is soon but its a friday. i know games usually drop on tuesday but there have been plenty of exceptions. they could drop on nov 10th right before it, too.


edit: the next friday the 13th after nov is in may. i hope we dont have to wait that long but thats most likely the case.


second edit: damnit. old articles have it aiming for an oct 2015 release date but newer articles, that also mention the new(?) kickstarter campaign, say that it's aiming for an oct 2016 release, if funding succeeds.

yeah i remember hearing about summercamp a while ago. it reminded me of the friday the 13th game but i lost track of it. now i hear about it again and they changed the name and got the license. im really lookin forward to this

It has been in the works for a while; they already have a beta but since Last Year made a kick-starter they are doing it also once they acquired the rights from Crystal Lake; the same ppl called the guy (working by himself) on a copyright infringement because one of his dudes had a hockey mask; the original was so much better by this guy so now we have an entire productrion staff including kane hodder and tom savini over some dude making this game solo.... and the announcements wesre within 2 days of each other for you skeptics,,,,,,,,,
