Xbox one question

yo does anyone knows if you can play music and play games at the same time ??? i always end up in a media player and when i back out to start a game the music stops ...

am i doing something wrong ? or is the xbone not able to do both things at the same time ?

my end goal is to stream on twitch and have some music playing

You need to have the media player snapped.

Open the side menu, with friends and party and stuff. Go to the very bottom, and then you can snap the media player to the side, you gotta keep that open as far as I know, but I am generally using Youtube instead of Media Player, so maybe different.

The dashboard update coming in the next couple months will allow background music playback. Currently I stream to my PC, play music there and run the PC audio to my headset. you just have to use the Xbox app to do party chat.
