Hey guys.
2020 got one more out of me I guess.
I made this trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WCLfi8IC-Y), and didn't intended to make the video but went ahead with it.
Basically a full length skater xl video. Per usual my focus is on telling a story. This has become an expression for me after all.
2020 has been love, loss, anxiety, depression and even a bit of anger as I learned to stand up for myself.
I'll be moving states soon in the chaos, selling non essentials including video game stuff, but a changed person.
No longer holding grudges or judging others. Things are as they are and I will do what I have to for my self.
Haha, anyways, rest assured that's all relevant to the video making it out.

Oh hey Mark, been a while man!

Yeah, I really felt as if things were crumbling there for a minute personally.
I'd be lying if I said games haven't helped me out of a waning depression though.
Things are starting to look up here more recently. I kept my game stuff!
Actually in a position to take a year off now too. I'll use this time to recover, get healthy and of course play some video games.

While I acted out as a younger me on forums like this; These are just video game videos.
I just thought it might be interesting to hear where the inspiration in my choices came from on days like these. :p

I havent seen you guys around here in a while. So many familiar faces though.
I havent had a decent PC in years. I still do my little edits on a smartphone haha.
I've been on xbox this entire time. I upload clips to onedrive from each game and grab them on my phone.
It's tedious with large projects but hey, I have fun anyways. :p

I wasn't feeling the other game clips. That is just me though. I just like watching the fake skate clips. I enjoyed the ending where it was more of a traditional video part.

I'm pretty sure you aren't alone there haha. This forum has always been pretty skate sim focused.
I haven't posted most of these medleys just because of that, but this one had a lot of SXL.
My thing is, do you think I could still tell my story without the other game clips?
Because I don't see these concepts working any other way.
It's given me a voice, in a unique way. Super fun form of expression.
I went on to think, man this is basically a full length.
People making SXL videos also use clips from other things whether it's transitions, or music videos.
This is just my flip on it. Could have multiple meanings.
Probably not going to do it any different honestly. Just too much fun. :p
