This seems like a very interesting approach to the continuation of the skate series.
They said this is NOT Skate 4, but the next evolution of skate to allow as many people as possible to enjoy it.
They also have years of content already laid out to support the game with.
I imagine with the idea of this that Whales will keep this game going for the F2P clientele.

And just like that I'm over it. EA and Live Service are a fatal combination for any project. I doubt Skate has an audience larger than something extremely hyped and mainstream like Anthem and look how that worked out. I don't think there will be many whales. I cant imagine there being anything interesting enough to warrant the kind of spending. And if it isn't making FIFA, Madden or Apex money EA won't support the thing for long. This seems doomed from the start and no amount of road maps can fix that.

Ayoooo good to be back.

Don't want to jump the gun and judge too quickly, but not too keen on the free to play approach. EA's track record with this doesn't make for pretty reading.

"Still Working On It" trailer surprised me with the animations and presentation. But, Cuz's (I think it was Cuz) double down on this definitely not being Skate 4 makes me think this is moving in a direction us OGs won't be fond of.

Time will tell. Never wanted to be proved wrong more.

Age is a killer for gaming time. But a dope map and a free cam and I'm all in

"It's a brand new city."
That's all we needed when the next iterations came out, just something to keep in mind.
Expectations peaked when money makers came into play.
Within all of gaming, in general, as knowledge.
When skate. was thriving, it was about appreciating every nook and cranny.
That love is what kept people playing well beyond the team's life and even brought it back.
Now people are concerned about where the money goes.
How much longer the ride is..
EA didn't owe us anything, but here we are.
I don't picture this project losing any polish because you bought a pair of shoelaces.
Can't wait to play. Tomorrow.
