yeah i get fuel on cox digital cable...not sure if thats a nationwide thing
but fuel has drastically reduced the amount of skating on their channel
they show built to shred and the occasional skate video but that's pretty much it
they do a lot of surfing and snowboarding stuff

Lance lives about 15-20 minutes from me and I occasionally see him riding around town, as our town is the hot spot for skating (at least it used to be until they banned skating and sold our skatepark/tore it down).

Now there's no where to skate...

Sick deck!

Yeah, they took our skatepark away because it was in the Parks and Rec. center and there were a lot of confrontations between skateboarders, fat baseball players, and the Park/Rec guys.

Most of the time, it was not use starting the shit. Around here we have rednecks who love to shout obscene gestures at the skateboarders because they're jealous of how much style we have and the number of skatepark bitches hanging around us.

So, instead of regulating the asshole outside of the park, they just took the park away completely because to them: Rednecks > Skateboarders.

That's a little hyperbollic, but that was basically the situation and now, we have NO WHERE to skate.

If you skate on the sidewalks, streets, where ever, you get a 200 dollar ticket.

200 dollar ticket for skating anywhere?
Man go find some place abandoned..
I actually found an abandoned Goodwill warehouse once
I don't live around it anymore but there were rails, a rolling ladder
just tons of stuff.

We find our spots, but they're usually short lived. The new skateshop has a rail outside... woo hoo.

Antwan

Yeah well that's cool a rail's a rail..
if anything drive everywhere if possible, act completely innocent
they can't write you up if they have no solid proof..
even if they see you at a spot with a skateboard don't deny it that's lying
just tell them you are hanging out, which wouldn't be a lie.
oh
and
"I do not give you consent to search me" magic words.. will think you're a law buff..
Tell them you have to get home and ask them if they are detaining you.
