Let me tell you the most unbelievable story in sports, that's happening NOW.
CFL:NFL for Canada.
Grey Cup:Superbowl for Canada
Saskatchewan Roughriders(my dad's from Sask.) vs. Montreal Alouettes
Sask. pulls ahead early, looks like an upset.
Mon. gains.
10 seconds left in the game.
Mon. gets close.
They get in field goal range.
They are 2 points behind Sask.
If they make the field goal, they'll win the game.
Now...
This is my dad's BIRTHDAY, which has already been screwed up by stuff.
Badly screwed up.
So Montreal takes the kick...
MISSES!
BUT WAIT A SEC BITCH!
Dozens of penalty flags fly.
Sask had too many men on the field.
13 to be exact.
Irony
Montreal gets another try and get 10 yards closer.
They get it.
Now, Saskatchewan has a big cult following of fans...
BIG
Dudes wearing melons on their heads drinking too much Pilsner.
No kidding.
And there aren't just 10 or 20,
They've fUcking filled the city up.
One word...
RIOTS
And guess what?
I happen to live in the city the game has just taken place in.
This is a historic failure for Saskatchewan.
My dad's bday, f*cked up beyond possible comprehension.
BUT
There's birthday cake and Haagen-Daz for him
All is well...for now.
In the meantime, if you see a giant, city-sized fire to the north of wherever you are...
And melons flying through the air...
