Video editing suggestions?

Im on a PC and I got a version of Vegas but seem to be having issues. While editing and previewing all I get is audio. Anyone have a suggestion for another option for edits?

What .flv converter are you using?
I had that problem my self but after I started using a different converter everything worked out!
