I don't think I could rhyme skateboarding though I'm so far underground with it I just name things that probably exist.

It's like the scene around me is so competitive little kids will come up to me and dog on me so that kind've pushed me away from skateparks I just try to find spots whenever I do skate.

I used to make hip hop music in my late teens/early 20s. Mostly instrumental hip hop, downtempo, lounge, trip hop, whatever you want to call it. I have a few songs where I'm on the mic, but I never really considered myself an emcee and definitely didn't have any serious freestyle skills.

I find it incredibly tough to translate written raps into spittin' raps because so much relies on cadence/flow/vocal timbre/word emphasis/etc. So to be honest anything looks (and 'sounds' in my mind) kinda boring until someone breathes life into it.

Writing is the only thing that will improve your freestyle. The more you work with rhymes the faster they'll come and in time, you'll be able to string together accurate phrases.

i dunno man lost interest i guess.... i started it bout the same time i got hurt and had to stop skating and Katrina hit the gulf coast and moved back up to north state........ we used to flow and play M-O-V-I-E on my prep crew at outback when i was the KM down there so i got a healthcare job and really forgot about the rest.

the MOVIE game is awesome and fun to do at work just like skate......

1st person in circle names a movie
2nd person has to name an actor in that movie
3rd person has to name a movie that actor has been in
4th names another actor in that movie etc etc
if someone tries to bluff you can call it once per 2 turns and if they are bullshitting then they get 2 letters...... otherwise you get 2 letters...

best game evur............its great working in a rest on a prep crew n stuff or around a campfire; that passes time in the night when nothing else is around

Try to get your hands on a recording program with multiple tracks. Adobe has one call Audition I think. That way you can play your instrumental in one track while you record to another.

Yep.. appreciate it but not happening on this operating system.. too unstable.
