I've never heard it called that before, probably should add that to the title of my fakie 360 flip body varial/sex change video.

I was trying this at my park today. It's a lot easier on a bigger board. It was trippy.

It feels like more of a frontside tre flip on banks/transition, but on gaps I guess you can call it whatever you want.

these are normal 360 flips where ONLY the skater's body does a 180, right? (i find it kinda hard to tell in the vid)

how exactly do u those? i have only ever gotten varial heel and kickflip body varials, never anything else.

I don't know where kids get these names... goddamnit flip, dolphin flip, what the fuck. It's just a 360 flip body varial.

They're used to shorten up the trick name. Dolphin flip has been around for a while. Better than Stanton Flip and sounds cooler than Forward Flip.

"Dolphin flip" comes from the original name "Porpoise dive" that nobody says anymore.

It's all about timing, you've got to turn fs right when you do the flip. Otherwise you'll catch it before you turn.

A couple years ago, I saw a dude land this on a bank at a local park. As soon as he landed it he called it a goddamnit flip, so I stole that from him. Officially, the Goddamnit flip originated in KC haha.
