So.. I'm looking to future proof myself and invest in a Cap Card and I know a couple of heads 'round these parts rock with one so I'm looking for some suggestions.

Key info:

PS3
Would like to be able to play on my TV while I record but not a necessity.
I'm looking for at least 720p quality.
Would prefer to have Audio and Video recorded.
I'm not opposed to USB style Capture Devices provided it's capable of 720p recording.
Cash isn't a HUGE issue but I'm not made of money (under $500 preferably)

Best card I've heard of so far is Black Magic Intensity.. but I'm hearing there's HDCP issues when recording through HDMI and that the Component cables don't record sound. Any validity to this info?

Anything that you guys could educate me on would be much appreciated.

$200ish, probably less.
works great for me ever since, but granted, it's been a while since i've looked into cap cards, so i'm sure there's better stuff out there these days.
what i really like about it is that you plug it in between your TV and your computer, meaning you can use your console as you would usually do and if you wanna record something, just start the programme and hit record.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm going to look into this Hauppauge. If anyone has anything else to add, please by all means reply. I want as much info on whatever Cap Cards/Devices are available as I can get.
