Your on a high. Its like a person from American Idol singing(terribly), yet they think they are the next best thing(hypothetically). As most people said you have improved, but your improvement has no clear indication that your better than the last recording. You might have been able to stick to delivering those lyrics as you had hoped, but still doesnt mean that you've hit a flowing rhythm, And if your fine with what your final product sounds like when you Upload, well then Its clear as day as to what you think. Dont Hate on peoples opinions cause......Opinions are for assholes, everyone has one.

True eh. well thanks man appreciate it, I went up in wrote it in like 20 minutes. Im really happy with how this turned out as well. The second guy on the track is an Old friend I hadn't seen in a decade, we met up and got straight to work on the track at his friends(the guy who hit the last verse and produced the track) Both of them are really talented. Project and be vocal, which can tend to your Power and Charisma, always bring 100 percent.
(Use your diaphragm to breathe and project your voice......learn to take rests and find a breathing technique that suits you best)
Topics and Subjects. Stick to what is You, and what You want people to know.

I can agree, I have noticed it.
I seem to get lost in speaking/rapping it and sometimes I even get so hyped up I try to do it faster..
I think any progression I've shown is through trying to incorporate bars.
I keep telling myself it's a process, Having trouble nailing it but I am feeling what I am doing so
Hopefully doing my research and keeping at it I will show some more progress.
If you guys will listen, I will continue to share and try to bear in mind what has been said.

So I started using my headphones' earpiece to catch the wind.. It's actually not half bad!
I kind of like kicking it with a headset microphone.. but I'm willing to bet there aren't any for good recording quality.
I may get something better in the future, but This is what I'm working with currently.

In my experience Youtube will add some compression to whatever you upload. Not really enough to affect the mix significantly. I could see it having more of an effect on a rougher song where no compression was used in the editing process, more so if volume levels were pretty inconsistent throughout. But again I don't see it having any significant affect on the mix.

Fair enough, I thought you were talking about volume not pitch. Youtube really should not affect that.

I'm completely unfamiliar with Ubuntu and Linux in general. Assuming there is an actual change in pitch and you are not mistaken, I would think your problem is more likely related to rendering with one operating system and playing in another with something glitching at some point. Who's knows, not really my expertise, im strictly a Mac guy.

For my songs that I upload to Youtube I:

Render the song in Garageband as a .aiff file
I convert it to .mp3 in Itunes
I render the video in Imovie as a .mp4

I think I'll try your method, I didn't think about it
but I record vocals as a .ogg file on Ubuntu.. It's a unique audio type for Linux.
Ultimately, Render to a .M2T Video File.
I do have the option to record Vocals as an MP3.. so Maybe I'll do that, and render as an MP4.
I also do it multitrack, Vocals one and the Instrumental on another.. only way I can as far as I know.

For a reference day 14 didn't sound as much forced. Hype comes naturally when you become more natural with your style. Right now, you're all over the place with style. Not that you have to choose right now, but keep in mind people like consistency. Just think of any rapper you know, they have a certain style. Find yours, and grow comfortable.

Yeah, I'm still fairly new to this seeing as that was literally the second verse I've ever recorded. I'm used to writing slam poetry, not rap. But that just makes it easier to write. Honestly, if i was in your position i wouldn't over think it. Practice rapping over a metronome for a bit. It should be easier for you to stay in time, there's less going on in comparison to a full song that has more stuff to distract you or throw you off your timing.

You might be better off using slower simple beats for a while. Should make it easier for you to keep in time and see where you are falling out.

It would range from I don't know FREE to 1.50 US DOLLARS.. does this sound profitable to anyone? I don't know many artists but I know they are out there.. I could build on it, add features, eventually make something like a featured artists page.. Start making my own stuff to put on there down the road. I don't know sounded doable.. if anyone want's to contribute ideas I'd be down to donate from my profits to you for said ideas. This is all brainstorming really.. Yeah I feel you, it does come out real clean for youtube shit for sure but you gotta step up to some equipment if you really want to put out bumpable shit feel me? Shit people can DL an throw in their whips, iPods etc etc. And for your own satisfaction of listening to your own shit, nothing better than hearing your own shit that sounds just as professional as mainstrean shit quality wise you know.
