alright, so after looking around through everyone here i know i'm barely even scrapping the bottom of the totem pole.. but i LOVE this aspect of the game and plan on abusing it just as i have illustrator and photoshop for the past decade. most of these were to be t-shirt designs as i have yet to figure out how you guys get your graphic to the form of the board, any input on how y'all do this would be much appreciated. also, the Triple 6 you see constantly repeated is just my buds and i's skate team. hope to hear back from someone! :D

One of the easiest ways to get a board shape is to go to Skate.asset and search for template, board, or shape. Then you want to Bookmark one of those that is the shape of a deck. When you open the GC to create a graphic you can click on the Asset area and go to bookmarked Assets to choose the one you want to use. You can also use this to create your own personal board shape asset for future usage in case they remove their asset. On the grid you place the asset like an object and stretch it to the corners which should roughly give you a board shape close to the ingame one.

is the board

the board shows up a little weird, but i'm sure that will work it's self out with trial and error. once again, thanks for all the input. i know ignorance can be frustrating..

i love your signature pic. it's awesome.

board shapes are pretty overated. the curves aren't needed, it's easier to resize stuff without them.

i tend to just use two rectangles:

and if you want the colours to look that way ingame it's better to darken them a bit because the game tend's to wash out the colours by bumping up the brightness and ruined light on light detail, i made a band shirt that was a blood red and yellow, but instead it looked pink and soft yellow ingame.

yea, i've noticed that you really have to darken everything you want to transfer over. but the main reason why i was trying to get the basic shape of the board was because a few certain graphics i made can't and won't fit properly. still only being 3 days into this game, i'm trying. :D and thank you for the compliment on the sig :D keeps me going..

A good rule of thumb for the board shape and getting that size right, use the grid of the GC: Deck length is the entire window--20 units or 'squares', deck width is half the window or 5 squares, and the length of the nose and tail are both 4 squares (trucks end up being somewhere between the 5th and 6th square from each end).

Also for getting colors to look right, use as much saturation as possible (100% is best but doesnt work for all colors), and 50% brightness is the primary shade for most colors.
