Alright guys the sign ups are DONE. I am NOT taking anymore entries. If you are NOT on the list, then you may NOT send clips. If you ARE on the list then you may send clips.

Requirements:

- Sign up by replying. Anyone can sign up.
- Submit 2 - 4 clips (no Cap cards)
- Your clips can be anywhere on the game.
- Must have filmers pack. Upload in HD.
- Mega upload and PM your flv (flash) clips to me here on fluckit.
- If you don't know how to Megaupload, then I will grab from your reel.

* Remember to give me your flash clips. Do not convert them and send them to me.

About this project:

This is a community project to celebrate the skate.reel coming back. I told mamba that after the crash we'd make a big ass video, so here we go. This prjoect is not only celebrating the reel, but allowing the newer generation to come together. Being that its 2011, we are seeing a new generation of skaters; new material. More people are coming up to keep this thing alive.

Yes I'm going to edit. Hopefully I'll do a good job. I've never done anything like this. Antwan I saw your intro logo... it was nice, but not what I'm looking for. Here are examples of what I mean:

- Rip Cup 2 had that logo at the beginning of all of its videos. The logo was clean and represented the Rip Cup.
- People use the COTW logo at the beginning of their videos (most of them). Its a simple logo that represents clip of the week.

What I need is a simple and clean design that reads "Return of the Reel." Logos make things attractive. I'm not trying to ask for a lot, just something simple and attractive for the video. I'll try to make one myself, but I'm honestly bad with designs. I'm open to looking at anyone's designs.

This thing is going to be my hardest edit. I need a song that flows... a celebratory song (with not too many breaks). I need a song that mostly everyone will be cool with.

if you want a good song that's long enough and that has a nice flow to it, check out Explosions in the Sky; they generally have really long songs (6-10+ minutes) that have such good flow. It might not be the type of song you're looking to use tho, because Explosions in the Sky is pretty much all instrumental, but they work good for long videos, or even short ones too. Just a thought/suggestion though, don't take it if you already have something else in mind... ;)

BUT...just today my Vegas decided to not open anymore. It has stopped opening. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it 6 times. Nothing. If anyone could tell me why Vegas will not open then that would be great.

That happened to me before; did you turn on your antivirus software (or get new software)? It could have removed something critical without you even knowing. If so, you should be able to check the history and create an exception. If not, just download vegas again and reinstall.

If you have absolutely no clue whatsoever what the problem is.. there's always the option of System Restoring to a date when you KNOW it worked.

what are the issues with your program?
are you unable to open it by itself, or just when you try to edit THIS video?

If it isn't opening only when you edit the video chances are you got a "bad" clip or something..
My editor does something similar to this.. that's why I've made a habit of editing it all in one sitting.
not sure if it will be the same for you.. but try to do this.. don't save it bit by bit.
If you don't want to leave the computer on there is a nifty function called "Hibernate"
It will Shut your computer off but remember everything you had open.. it basically resumes.

If it doesn't open at all..
I recommend trying;
To reinstall it, from the same place you got it last time
or even try to reinstall it from a different place.

If neither of those work.. you could try using google to search for your problem..
not even kidding.. it has even helped me with issues at work.

Antwan the ENTIRE program will not open AT ALL...

I click on the Sony Vegas Pro 10 icon... the blue ring spins for 3 seconds... it goes away... and nothing happens.................

there may be a "system clean" for a clean vegas install available somewhere.

I think you just may be better off doing it in two or three segments. When you're dealing with that many clips on a timeline.. you're going to need an assload of memory. And Sony 9 already has memory issues that you'll probably have to make some registry edits to fix.
