They skate great but I broke one that was brand new really easily; exploded. nd my buddy broke one a while back doin a flatground kickflip pretzel./.

I once won a board over at tacky.dk, but since it was 7.5 (and I hate riding that) I sold it to my mate for cheap price. He said it was pretty awesome... until he broke it a week later.

It's personal preference. I love them but I know a lot of people who hate them and say they break easy. They last pretty long for me and the shape and everything is nice.

u only break them when ur trying to hard....i mean i've gone through 4 girls boards and 1 chocolate and have yet to break em. either i suck at breaking them or maybe i actually CARE about the up-keep of my board

i've tried a fiberlam toy machine and an element when i was 14 but never really tried a girl myself. my current deck(s) are a $LAVE or a zero deck which ever deck i feel like using at the time but alas i don't really have the time to skate anymore. but both of those are good to me i like black box myself.

my first and only board was a Koston sig bak when he was with girl. Its still in really good shape too. if there was anything i didn't like about it; is that its a bit narrow but thats not really girl's fault.

I just got the Guy Mariano election series deck and i love it and it even came with a free girl air freshener unfortunately i sprained my ankle the other day so I'm out for two weeks.

Never tried girl decks.. And from hearing that they snap easily. (Im quite husky..) I dont wanna buy a brand new girl deck. since we're talking about decks. which brand of decks is best for the tubby skaters? LOL.

Guys... any signature deck you buy should be Canadian Maple (i'm not sure of Element and Dwindle Wood aka Almost, Enjoi, etc... they seem to use a lot of chinese wood). Point being no company puts out a board that "breaks easier" than another company.

Sometimes you get a board with bad lamination that causes it to be weak but 98% of the time it's you landing wrong. Don't blame the board, blame the fact that you didn't land on the bolts.

The only legit reasons to be picky about boards are to Support the brand you like and because you like a particular shape and concave. Pretty much every company puts out a variety of sizes now too so you really don't have to worry much about find the right size in your favorite brand anymore.

Bad luck or bad landing. Could possibly be manufacturer defect... but those are really rare.

Wrong. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk when I say this... but do some research behind the distribution companies and they wood they use. Go to your local shops and ask to talk to the "Skate buyers." Assuming they're not big retail chains (like Fast Forward or Zumiez) they shouldn't have a problem with talking to you a little bit about the product.

I'm thinking it was a defect or bad luck, cause I would beat the hell out of the Mike Mo deck, landing on the tail and nose with fs and bs flips and it took almost 2 months to crack even a little bit. Girl is still my favorite decks though.
