Does anyone have a batch of film burns that I can download? Or a website that I can go to (other than You tube)? You tube didn't have a lot of videos for downloading film burns.

I've seen many different colors... blue, green, yellow, orange, red...

Here are some examples of what I'd like (not trying to follow them, just want to test things around this area)...

The film burns people typically use are from Artbeats.com

marco, film burns don't really lose much resolution it's just lights flashing with an orange colouration.

so it won't matter when you rescale em to hd.

I just do not see what is so appealing about film burns, they don't look that great to begin with and it's been wayyyyyyyyyyyy over used.

it's been wayyyyyyyyyyyy over used.

This was my first thought. The DC video came out in what, 2003? And I thought they should have died then and there.

Marco if you have firefox download an add-on called downloadhelper, then proceed to artbeats
the atoms will be at the top near bookmarks it will light up and spin when there's something streaming you can grab for download.
after you download it you'll have to resize the video with your effect to get the artbeats logo out of there.
Have fun.

This also works for videos if you ever need something that you cant get free
just don't use it for commercial projects (something you would gain money from making) and you should be all set.

Oh and I've also found with the effects that have black in them, just set the video with your effect in it to "screen"
the black looks ugly in transition and should give a cleaner look using the "screen" option.

I've only done like two videos with a filmburn.. they are pretty fun to mess with though.
