No its not gone but at least for me im having the same problems skate 3 is having. If when u start and u check the reel and it says no footage available or something then u cant upload :(

when I popped S2 in tonight, I got an update. After that, it's been running really smooth since. Hopefully it's not just for tonight lol

I uploaded a lil clip the other day "Coffin Table" to the skate2.reel, and I'm stuck behind a NAT 3 server with no hope of ever opening ports on the network who's motto is "It only identity theft.... i mean.. everything." Thank god my gf undestands my need to go Xbox 360 soon. Skate on brethren (and sisteren?-is that even a word?)!
