Anyone grabbed it yet and seen how fucking awesome it is?

New defending system is the dogs balls. Animations are so realistic, looks so good.

Pumped for the real thing.

I'm not into soccer (even tho my country is 100% soccer), but I'm more of a PES dude. FIFA's animations are so realistic, almost like a soccer simulator, but PES has reach another level. Something in games like CS:Source vs. CS 1.6. Source is great but, 1.6. is still on top of the most played games list.
I'm must admit new FIFA's trailer looks amazing. Is the demo available at PSN?

i'm still playing 11, so i'll skip the demo and get 12 at launch.

have they figured out how to import career modes yet? real sick of having to start my guy over every year with shit stats playing in MLS.

Not sure, but I doubt it, as they never have before. All about the Premier League ;).

New features and animation really look upped this year. Normally they just change the kits and add one or two new skill moves. But 12 just from the demo all ready has a different more tuned feel to it. And the full game has even more new features added which look pretty damn sick.

Finally! It was so dull when they more or less only talked during a pass/score and so on. Might try out the demo today and see if it's worth my money.. Haven't played FIFA11 in a few month's now.

wow this game got so much better. Header goals aren't a 100% 2-button combo anymore. animations are great. The new impact engine is amazing.

Wanna see how goaltending is, that's my bag and it definitely needed some tweaks from 11.

Defending is great, I actually have to learn how to defend now.

I'll be down for a fluckit club. I'll even play goal if nobody else wants to.

However, playing the computer AI in the demo is near impossible. Even on Semi-pro I'm having trouble getting the ball from the AI, they play possession so hard and I always miss tackles with the B button.


I'm pretty sure B calls another player to make the tackle? Try A dude :)

It was like that in FIFA11. But as far as I can tell. B or Square on ps3 will make you tackle. I tried to hold B so another teammate could tackle (like in FIFA11).. but I ended up with tackle the air instead. Only way to make a teammate pressure the attacker is by holding RB/R1 so he can jockey (Which feels really weird imo cause I always use my index finger for both RT and RB. But that's kinda hard now when I need a teammate to jockey while I'm running at the same time) . Might be some way to tackle with a teammate.. I just haven't looked hard enough for it.

if you hold RB while you're containing (hold A) the teammate will come in and double the ball. As long as you're containing they'll go for the ball almost every time.

ya i liked it overall. the defense system was tough to get used to but i think it was good move from ea, because it does add a bit of a challenge to the defending part. still dont like the penos tbh tho.

On day one I'll start up the club and send everyone invites or you can request to join. I'll play ANY unless someone else feels more comfortable doing so. Only thing I ask is everyone be cool and don't ball hog or rage.

I have a tendancy to rage-slide, i'll try to contain myself. lol

is there any pre-order bonus for clubs? i saw the one for FUT, but i'm over ult team.

FUT launched online yesterday, site crashed within an hour.

The difficulty has deffinitely upped this year. As soon as you go above semi pro, its difficult to come away with more than a draw.

Still pressin circle to pull the player back, and ending up tackling nothing leaving the player to run free towards the goal. Nice to feel like learning again as over the years its been pretty similar.
