I only watch them because it has Video Game in the name. They're mundane as fuck, it's a popularity contest and all of of the celebrities who went onstage (with the exception of Tony Hawk) don't even play video games, let alone know what the fuck they're talking about

A. "get a lot of celeberties on stage for people will watch"
B. "make it look like said celeberties have something meaningful to say."
C. "Actually give out some form of bullshit recognition to the hard work of those in the entertainment industry. "



you can see that the actual awards take a backseat to bullshit.
