A question and a tip about interlaced skate videos rip : just in case

I guess most of you know this already but in case some missed it

vlc can deinterlace interlaced videos. As most of the them are interlaced, just use this player

right click when your video is playing =>Video\deinterlace\yes

the good thing too is that if youre on pc, this is kinda the best video player as no codec are needed.

then my question why skate videos rips are interlaced ? its just a checkbox away when your editing the vid...

hopefully im a moron and everyone knows about it
