So, yeah. I wrote something about in the preorder thread, but I think this deserves a separate thread.
The deal is...
At the EA site, there's now a PREORDER button.
Click it, and it'll take you to the Gamestop site.
As of now, it says the shipping date is 3/3/'09.
So we can only assume that that's the release date.
Personally, I'm disappointed; I was hoping for a holiday release this year :(

It better be holiday release. But, even if it isn't, atleast we have some games to hold us off (personally I'd rather have skate2 still).. Fable2, Saints Row2, Shaun Whites Snowboarding, Too Human, NFS Undercover, Midnight Club LA, Rock Band2, GH World Tour, 007 Quantum of Solace, MIRRORS EDGE (!!!) ...i couldnt think of anymore soooo - http://xbox360.ign.com/index/release.html
this dates been known for a while...and just remember that there really is no release date yet
gamestop puts release dates on many games that end up not even being close to the actual release, so don't go jumping to conclusions just yet
however, i personally think it'll be released around this time (1stQ '09) so you never know...

Yeah, I remember I preordered American Wasteland for the OG Xbox and I got it 3 months after the release date. DO NOT PREODER FROM BEST BUY.
The UK site that I pre-order games off (http://www.play.com) almost always ships the game a day or two before release, sometimes earlier so if your lucky you get the game early.Quote:
