took a break from gta to remember this topic existed
that was a pretty cool song. not even sure what to call it. whats with the anime peeps? it a theme song or something?
bit repetitive but would be good for a skate vid.
new ayreon is out. and its fucking awesome lol

That was cool. I think I enjoyed it a lot more than their previous stuff.
NEW MOTORHEAD!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI0z9nahzHo
-
Hell yeah, I like that song a lot! Been listening a lot to the Aftershock-album lately, Coup de Grace is my favorite so far from the new album ^^ Motörhead!
Aaaand, here I have some The Doors for you all. One of my favoritesongs ever made. I know the full lyrics to this and that is really rare when it comes to me :D

Jesus, I totally forgot about this thread.
Love me some Doors, always a classic. This songs fucking WEIRD though, and I love it.

Love this. Not sure whether it's a cover or not, but it has the classic Hendrix tone and playing you can't go wrong with.
EDIT: It's a cover of Muddy Water's song "Rollin Stone" which was based on Robert Petway's Catfish Blues.
-
Hell yeah, that was a really cool song! Gotta love Jimi and his guitar-skills!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m21U322Lgx0

Wasn't feeling it too much for the first 30-ish seconds(bit repetitive), but once it picked up I started to enjoy it. Plus, I always appreciate it when a band can interpret classical instruments in their music.

Found these guys from on of Wiltzuh's videos. Love them. Was expecting something harder when I saw the name, "Graveyard". Still dig them, nonetheless.
-
Sorry if I am blocking the chances for someone else to comment, but I feel otherwise this thread will die.
But yeah, Graveyard is one of my absolute favoritebands. I have about 4-5 bandshirts by them, all 3 of their albums and I also have 2 Graveyard-stickers on my skateboard :D
I really love their sound and what they do. I actually found out about them here on Fluckit when SkHate88 posted a link for their Hisingen Blues-album and after the first listen I completely fell in love with the band!
And I really love this song, I really like the drums and the tempo in the chorus versus the calm in the verses. And if you want something harder by them you should listen to "Seven Seven" from their Lights Out-album! It has a killer tempo going through the whole song! You should just listen through all of their stuff, they have some incredible stuff!
And from Graveyard we go to another band in the small circle of "Swedish 70s-inspired stoner rock". Here's Witchcraft!

i can see richy jackson riding down the street, killin' it with this song in the background...
lately on rotation on my car stereo:

Cool song, not the best I've heard by Hüsker but still decent!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2cQvZPX3OY

I digg. I have a couple of their albums on my iPod, but haven't thoroughly listened to these yet. I should try and catch one of their live performances though, since I hear these are outright insane...
One of my all-time favorites:

Not my cup of tea, musically it's cool, but vocally I don't like it.

I've been getting into pearl jam lately (late to the party much), and this live recording especially, the complete concert is almost 3 hours long.
In this particalur song Ben harper comes on stage to sing a couple lines (he comes back later to sing a whole song), and I freaking love ben harper ever since I saw him live.
-
Looked like a cool gig and that was a smooth song, I like some of Pearl Jam's songs but I'm not a huge fan of them :D

classic rock allways good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP6yvrfOfLc&hd=1 me like some Tiny Tim - Living In the Sunlight :-) what a lovely british smile

i might as well post this here while the goings good.
guys been getting a lot of attention lately. mostly becasue the label hes signed to is known for putting out a lot of great artist.
he released a self titled album couple of days ago. wanted to post chakra sharks from it but since its a newer song it isnt up on youtube yet
-
Wow, I love the whole psychadelic feeling to the song. Super good song! Definitely gonna check out more of this!
And here we go with some A Place To Bury Strangers, this band is so freaking good to me. I found these guys back in 2012 when I was going through a really tough time in my life and their music really stimulated my dark thoughts (and still do). They have such a fucking energy that I can't really find the words for to describe. I simply love everything they do and I have 3 of their albums on disc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSwQGXat5kc
-
Wow, his almost eerie-soft lyrics balance out the pace of the band, which sounds great. Sounds incredibly dark, which a fair part of that I imagine is due to studio effects and whatnot, but I can tell even without that it would still place the mood into your head fairly well.

A little change of pace with Tim Buckley, discovered him through his son. Love the back and forth progression with his awesome voice. Him and his son died way too early.

songs like that are the reason music is such a big part of my life. that was amazing. makes me kinda hate being young. i missed a lot of great music. it also gave me a use for an amazon gift card i got for chistmas and never used. if you know of anything similar dont hesitate to share.
now...
if youve played hotline miami youve already heard some of his music. SUN ARAW. got into him through HM(great game btw). woldve sooner but i mistook them for another artist that i absolutely hated. i can say with 100 percent confidence that that was THE worst period of my life. his music ranges from funky 70's/80's cop show themes, to lush tropical island jams, to more abstract listening experience. anway enjoy.
p.s there are other versions on youtube without the video. i just thought it was funny. and you gotta admit, whatever shes doing shes killing it.

Seems neat, not exactly my cup of tea but I can still enjoy it. Lady's nuts.
Don't mind me some Stones.

THANK you for finally replying. Don't want this thread to die.

Never been a fan of Stones, but I've heard this several times and not known it's them. I actually like it :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSnOyHxcKnk
And here is the best artist I've discovered in a really long time, Nicole Sabouné. She released her debut-album in the middle of january and I saw her perform live february 1st. Seeing her perform live is one of the best moments I've had during the recent years. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

nice one granka its really cool but a tat to monotone for almost 4 min :-) . this one is one of my fav. vinyls since 2000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPXDx_rUCGk&hd=1

Had a difficult time with trying to enjoy that song, I listen to a lot of extreme stuff but that was a bit too "grindcore"-ish (maybe I'm completely wrong about the genre, sorry) for me. Never really been into that sort of stuff. But I liked that whole chaos-feeling with all the instruments going hard and rough.

nice g it remembers me of aphex twin or prodigy .. ;-)

I freaking love Veronica Maggio :D Always a guarantee to hear at least one song by Veronica whenever you're partying here in Sweden at house parties ^^

I was leaving the slot open for someone else to comment for once, but I guess I gotta step in so this thread doesn't die.
It was a really cool song, but a bit monotone for me when I'm not the best at understanding german :D But yeah, I even though dug it for sure!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9jZfkBH7mU
I really like the vibe in this song and video. And the girl who made this song reminds me a lot of a friend I like a lot.
-
wasn't overly down with the rapping but I didn't mind the more jazzy bits
So heres another youtube random search find, clicking related vidoes. Probably the most melodic death metal band ive ever heard. its kinda different
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsjHvaU5Aik
-
not feeling the singing at all but i do like the melody.
ehhh ive been listening to Ty Segall a lot so here's a pretty cool song
http://youtu.be/6Gi6UeA3zK4
-
I love ty segall, especially horn the unicorn (i've used "where we go" in a video of mine). so energetic, makes you want to fuck shit up
This is something different, say about him what you want but he can fucking play the guitar, steve jordan is an amazing drummer too.. and a nice cover of ray charles!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h5OgqqSYw4
-
Never really listened to Mayer but that was a pretty nice cover. He put in work though. Youre right he can play. Plus hes doing a collaboration with one of my favorite brands so he gets a point for that.

Not many people here share my taste and music but what the hell sharing doesnt hurt. Ive posted Blunt before. Long time fan. Robertson is a first for me. Shes got a pleasant voice. They released a mixtape not long ago but as usual with blunts releases its gone ghost. It was great though
-
-
Hell yeah, that was a kickass song! The tempo and everything is so cool!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYaxbcFmVcw
-
now bad. raw rock song. mix sounded old. guess bands go for that sound. reminds me of this time. same rock style kinda, similar vocals
Slow first half. the song kicks in heavier at 3:30 if you want to skip ahead. Has a folky beginning. Singer has a distinctive deep voice. awesome vibrato
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP-EOYZ9A1Y

figures Ay..... cool though loved the Strings
and it has a Death Anthem thing going on, very wild
nice Cadence too
and I blow it with this shit (drugs fucked me up in music taste) - MUAH
Infected Mushroom (old only new dub infected sucks terribly) - Merlin
-Dynamic Production
-Sound Engineering
-Emotional

-
Wow, that was a really cool sound she had. Trippy and almost scary :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcmR8DxuHBA
Good song as fuck, the dude has some amazing lyrics. Too bad that he killed himself by jumping off a building, people say he suffered of schizophrenia and that he believed that he was a prophet and that he would become Baphomet.
-
it's always the geniuses that are also fucked up in the head, it's a shame. this song was dope lyrically, the man has a sick flow, didn't care for the beat though.
Now this is something I never really listened to before, until I saw him live at north sea jazz, which was one of the best concerts I've ever seen apart from charles bradley!
