it was happy. ahaha mad short song
punk aint my thing really. not bad tho.
heres to hoping another rap fan doesnt come in again and just posts "bad"
at least on this song insult the vocals and tell them to stop shrieking or something if you dont like it lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSlTJ9YHdr0
I like Children of Bodom :)
Good music all around, heavy as fuck.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4XgCBxikWU&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dIGCF9llVs
Me likey!^ Got some extreme parts and some progressive parts aswell wich was a big plus!
This album has finally been released. Just waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBXNYxU4sVU
started sounding kinda like Dream Theater then he started with the vocals that remind me of Hypocrisy. Pretty awesome. I'll have to look that band up.
Now for one of my fav solos from one of my fav guitar players
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl6XUPT9cbM
epic solo-age starts around 2:15
Thats a band I haven't listened to in a long while. Never really been a thrash guy.
I personally didn't feel for that solo at all. But speaking of solo's, here's a magnificent solo from the masterminds of Mikael Weikath/Roland Grapow.
Solo at 3:45. Solo #1: Roland Grapow, Solo #2: Mikael Weikath
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-SC4TjmnEg
fuck that one I posted earlier was the single version. cut down. the solo was longer.
whatever
one you posted was pretty sick. I still think the one before had more originality. Helloween is awesome
heres an offshoot of helloween. the old singer kai hensen started it but I think you (cererbus) already know that
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeiX6bf2OPI
heres the other song from earlier. I think a fan took the music video, put the original track to it and stretched out the video with stock footage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCnyWXP8Lu8
musically: love it!
vocally: Not my taste, but absolutely not bad.
I love the title.. Rebellion in Dreamland..
Now someting a tad bit different :P
His live performence is superb, saw him 2 years ago, the Fray was headlining.
Everyone there was there for the fray, but not me and my buddy, only we knew the lyrics to sondre's songs, plus we had beautiful dates! (way too hot for us, so good memory's)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQD9JfOA1pA
This song was quite nice!
The verse chords and melodies were pretty moody and a tad dark, yet the chorus was much more cheery. The recording quality is pretty good, I like his voice and this had a lot of genre influences, there were some country licks and deeper, heavier guitar notes, then a lighter pop feeling, and something I cannot get on my mind right now.
Great. (and damn, me jelly bout those dates)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zetq5GsKgBg
as far as electric music goes this sounded pretty progressive. not my bag but it was kinda cool.
the choir intro reminded me of this song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRCrbRcSRxc
iced earth is p. okay so i'll give it 6/10
also jebezz that's pretty much one of my favorite albums of all time you get a cool/10.
i think it's time for more plunderphonic-type stuff. here is four tet. he is pretty chill.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU4AEPXG8eg
a bit too chill for me, but not bad at all
this is more my type of "chill"...
(coco rosie - lemonade)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBWxjAiO_KQ
i wasnt feeling that at first but i rather like it once the pace picked up a bit. might have to listen to more of her.
off one of my favorite albums
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bpnjK7kLGo
I felt the chill music didnt suit the rapping but I dont listen to rap so im probably biased as hell about that lol
heres an acousticish thing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJcRzfurefQ&feature=related
I've been thinking of trading/selling my electric guitar (Ibanez 'Gio' GRG170DX) and the accessories and getting myself an acoustic guitar, preferrably a steel-stringed one. I've been thinking about APX500 or then an Ibanez, not crazy expensive but not any Chinese plastic crap. So, I like acoustic stuff. And damn, this song sounds good. I especially love the Australia-ish flute (is that pan flute or what) in there... Great song again, dude.
Well, that reminded me of Australia.. which reminded me of these dudes.
The original version of this song is dope as fuck but this restrung orchestral one is even better.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyc0Lnxf95M
hilltop hoods <3
i've been jizzing over this guy for weeks now and this mixtape is probably going to be my album of the year.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVLMFXbBdZY
I was bored when the first half was him softly talking over weird music. Then the song kicked in and it was rap....so it was still just him talking over music.
Couldn't care what he was talking about. Might be good stuff IDK. It was pretty artsy fartsy for rap. If I dont like the sound of something I cant get into it tho.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYbWRlUW1Xo
I like Opeth, and this song, while it's not a face-smasher, does remind me that metal bands can do some pretty cool shit.
From the new album, let's see how long it lasts on youtube before EMI gets all uppity
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSJ9W9rvNRc
yah that last opeth song is a cover but they have a billion original songs that are chill as fuck too.
that song was pretty cool. The main riff was pretty awesome. Bass heavy which is cool. Not a lot of bands do that.
and fuck it, more chill opeth. this is 2 song put together.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjLCBrSH4gE
Love Opeth! Dont really have anything more to say though, lol.
Let's keep the prog going, but going in a slightly different direction. First track off of their (imo) best album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDCG7daJ7cc
i swear i'm the only person here that doesn't like metal. sorry cerb + everybody else :c
http://studying.bandcamp.com/track/w...-back-to-you-2
no youtube link but bandcamp link. this is like my new favorite song. pls don't laugh at my emo :c
the singer literally sounds like he is about to cry.....
but that has to be what he was going for.
k, gettin all folky again with my folky rock
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-PkfKZAT6E
Amazing intro!^
Always been a big Avantasia fan.
Here's one from one of my all time favorite bands!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a014uOduLoo
ahah that was awesome and hilarious. Like a Japanese Symphony X.
Japanese people. lul.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYrCf7L67gM
Fuck yeah, gotta love power metal! Heard that one before :) I absolutely love the guitars and the drums!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBh1M_xFJEg
Discovered this band a few months back and been listening to them sooooo much, I fucking love 'em!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hkz_KT8dKM
FUCK WITH THE ROOTS
Hell yeah, The Roots! Some good ass shit!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5yb2H7Fqi8
I guess I'll keep the hip-hop train going with this one, love Kendrick and the Black Hippy-crew!
I don't really fuck with Kendrick Lamar. I don't know why.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q16R8RoMbg8
did the song start with white nigga die?
lmfao what the fuck.
not my bag, but his voice isnt fucking annoying like Eminen so yah. theres that.
hip hop is weird.
speaking of weird lyrics.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDcpF4C5cas
I like how that songs got this really big overtone, like the background is heavy as buttholes
the intro is bomb
more rap because I'm stubborn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3n_zkMdewk
GET ON THAT DILLA, BLOOD

how could someone say something negativ about bowie?
https://vimeo.com/20807184
light hipsterish rock.
found it a little bland but not bad.
lol, this isnt really about the song. But this is the singer from Iced Earth as a cop, signing. They dont even mention iced earth at all. But god dam he has an amazing voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09RXJeX6ajA
____
if you dont know what Iced Earth sounds like, lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btd2KxXOvNc
So different
Wooooooow, what a killer voice! Amazing! :O
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYEckFvN7Xw
Had this on repeat now for 2 days, fucking love it!
That normally wouldn't be my style, but something about the riffing reminded me of Judas Priest which i like. So overall it was good.
New Dethklok album out this week.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2YnchvlxkM
Oh shit, the new album is out?! How did I miss this?! I fucking love Dethklok! Killer track, always loved the riffs and the drums in Dethklok-songs. Wonderful!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuG1T7yuoVw
DOWN WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT!
Yah, fuck broadway. Right in the ass.
how about some space metal? woot woot. Doesn't get much more spacey and proggy than this. 2nd half of the song gets all epic with trumpets and what not.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXdK8Sndl5A
Yeah, that was for sure spacey. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit too slow and "powerless" for my taste when it comes to metal. But good stuff anyways.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xLGuSAfBiw
A metalband from my hometown LuleƄ that created the metalgenre "SID-Metal". Personally I love their sound and really dig the fact that they've worked in Commodore 64-sounds and such into their music. Also cool that these guys got to go on tour with my favoriteband Children Of Bodom.
dam that was fucking good.
love finding new bands that I like. main reason I post in this thread to keep the music coming. Probably posted powerwolf here before but haha, its SO cheesey. I love it.
