So nothing has really changed here. Still an open project, just put together what I was able to get so far.
It will all be in the same video once Part 2 is done. I just felt like there was some disinterest so I went ham.

i think i've seen most of the s2 and s3 roof spots. i've always been so curious about s1 roof spots, i know they exist

OG has quite a few roof spots, but the process to get to them is so long and irritating. As far as I can remember, there is no 'launch' type glitch in og, just the revert hardflip pop, which doesn't go very high at all, and the glitch I made a tutorial for years ago.

That glitch only works if you're in an area where your spawn won't reset wherever you land. Otherwise, you have to stay completely still, or hope your skater doesn't fall, in any direction, and touches the ground, or you're fuck and have to start all over again.

i was able to get onto the roof of some bunker kinda thing in s1, using this glitch you showed. pretty cool spot, had an ungrindable ledge that you could pop out of into a bank. im sure there are enough roof spots in s1 to make a vid

Btw, is there a "super jump glitch" I should be aware of to propel myself onto rooftops ? 'Cause bulding stairs made of vending machines is kinda time consumming.

Yeah, use that video McBambi posted.

I use a variation of that first method.
Drop your board, run toward a wall that is on the same side your hand would hold your board, hold the darkcatch button (RB or R1) while running next to that wall, right before you hit the wall and still holding the darkcatch button press y to get back on your board, confuse the game and go flying. Then I usually hit a quarter pipe prop to air up onto the roof Im looking at.
Alternatively you can set a decked quarter pipe sideways as a wall.
Skate 2 has easier methods but they appear to have cleaned up the code so we had to get creative on skate 3.

Anything up high is cool. I skated a few awnings myself.
