Your Internet Speed

I'm just curious what's your internet speed & price where you live?

my service was $50/month for 5mbps
I just switched it to 25mbps, but it's $80/month now (downloads around 2.9Mb/sec)
SO FAST compared to what I had before.

It's worth it since I don't pay for cable TV I just download whatever I want to watch.

I've heard canada is one of the worst places for internet service in terms of speeds and price compared to other places in the world.

So what's yours like and what country are you in?

i live in germany and pay roughly $40 (30€) for 25mbit

Mine is $80 I think maybe more for 25
I think I pay more because it's a business line. In total I pay over $200 for my Internet and phone up there. I pay like $65 or more for a fax line that gets used MAYBE once a month. It is completely fucking ridiculous. It's really the kind of thing that makes me want to punch a fucking brick wall so thanks for reminding me.

Edit: now I'm really pissed off!
I pay $200 for cell
$30 for home dsl
$70 or so for home phone

So yeah I pay over $600 fucking to talk to a bunch of people that I can't really stand for the most part. I'm going to go jump in the shower with my clothes on now. I can't wait for my wife to find me like that, I bet my thinning receding hair will be showcased nicely

I calledd the phone company and told them I don't like paying $80 a month ( I have iphone with 6gb data plan) for my cell
and they dropped $20 from the bill and gave me extra minutes lol

maybe try complaining? XD

I got unlimited, if I change anything it's gone. Can't get unlimited anymore, and I always break my shit so I get stuck in plans. I got a otter box now though, worth the bread

I have 6mbps (download) / 300kbps (upload) for 47€ (66$)... I think it's very expensive here...

Nice unlimited is awesome. Have you ever gone over 6gb in one month? I can't do more than 2.5gb so it's basically unlimited

I don't have iphone4 tho (nice case) still on 1st gen and they wont let me upgrade for another 10months

yea Seifuru that's definitely expensive. The closest package to that we have here is 10mbps / 512kbps up for $46

But our internet downloads are capped, each plan lets you download a certain amount but they're all small and unreasonable. That 10mbps plan only lets you download 60GB/month
The one I'm on is 125gb/month and every GB you go over is like $1.50 :O

yeah, from this saturday i'll be paying 40€ for 65mbit down/5mbit up - and that's including landline & cable tv
