This is from athe little while back. I came up with the song, concept, and did all the filming. All the final editing was done by my teammate Treez/urinedeepdoodoo/jchow. I thought it came out sick. Hope you guys like it.

skating was good, editing maybe a bit too flashy with the effects and too much slow mo. but i just can't approve of using that song. olson's part from fulfill the dream is an untouchable classic.
show us your teeth and show us your tits and show us the scars from the shit that you did.

Haven't heard Gang Starr in a while.
Gonna have to go look around the parkade again after this one..
that skinny setup looked sick.
Looked like a smith-rock tail at blackbox? Made that name up, Nasty.
Some huge drops, pretty good mix of stuff happening.
Treez is getting better at doing his edits too
The effects were a bit much at points but I still enjoyed it.
Do you put your hands up after every trick?
Thats just my stamp of approval Antwan. Whenever I'm satisfied that its the best its gonna be...hands go up. Lol
Volda, I'm gonna have to peep that part. I don't think I ever saw that one. Always been a fan. I just picked it cause its one of my faves and I thought it would be beast. I guess he thought so too. Like I said, this was pretty much my first solo ever. I've got alot better at filming since this I.e. my part in "Ducking and Dodging". Thanks for the input though guys.
liked the double stall at the black box park
too effect heavy on the actual skate clips. made it hard to watch. only effect that should be on those skate clips is some CC.
intro and outro were cool tho
Yeah, I wasn't too happy with that trick either. I was going for nose to nose. Musta tried it 500 times to no avail. I was getting it, just not as low as I popped for the smith so I just said fuck it. It was one of the last clips I needed to fill the time.
As for the edit, I can def see where you guys are coming from, but without the effects it woulda been too dull I think.

And to be perfectly honest, while I appreciate the suggestions on editing, I don't really want to fit in to any kind of niche. I mean, everyone has their own way of doing things and I like to color outside the lines. Whatever I feel accentuates my skating, I'm just gonna go with the flow until I get my computer up and running again. Like when Treez put this together for me, I specifically instructed him to go nuts. Anything he was wanting to try I had him just run with it. I was pleased with the final result 100%.
Right on man, I also thought some of the effects was just way too much, but in the end, it's all up to you. Luckily, you got guys in here that just bring it to your attention, rather then those who would just blatantly attack you as a whole because of it. A lot of guys here will just offer their opinion on what makes an edit better in their eyes, but as long as you're happy with it, fuck what everyone else thinks. As cuz would say 'keep rollin.'

While it may not seem like it to some of the older members here
We've made These Video productions a very progressive thing
We've seen A Majority of spots, tricks, styles
Every once in a while someone will butt their head against fresh ideas
but for the most part the advice has been;
You film centered, No shakey cameras
Chose a song that works and
Only add effects if they seem needed or are well done and you're golden.
It just made things a bit hard to see and we want to see your video!
While you are very aware of what your tricks are and what happened the whole time watching
It's not going to appear this way to someone first watching it with something so distracting.

I mean when I start doing my own edits, Ill take all this into consideration. That's how I progressed my filming to where its at now. But for now it's outta my hands. Everyone has a different approach. I'm a skater, not a filmer, so this is all still pretty foreign to me. But I think I'm getting it. I'll keep you guys up to date on my next solo that'll probably be going down by the end of the month. Thanks everybody though
Way too many slow-mos and stupid effects. Skating needs some work, but I think after a video or two that you'll improve. Seen muuuuuch worse stuff before
Yeah, I caught flack for slomo in the past lol Im working on it. What wasnt on point skatingwise though? Check out my part in "Ducking and Dodging". Its more recent. This is from months ago. You might find it more to your liking. Thanks for watching.
