yeah it would be sweet if Ben won. But like Flix said, I think its going to be Nyjah

Personally I think Nyjah won't become SOTY this year, sure he rips but as far as I can remember he hasn't been that much active in skate media this year. No parts or so. I think Wes has the biggest chance to become SOTY, but Bobby Worrest has a good chance too since he's delivered like 3 parts or so this year. It would be really cool to see Bobby win it.

Yeah, I predicted that one aswell and the year Chris Cole got it for the second time. But personally I feel that the fact they can get it more than once feels a bit bullshit.

WES KREMER! He's a skate rat , came out with A LOT of footage this year, and skates LIKE CRAZY. He deserves it, imo.

ok so nothing is official yet but im 99% sure who its going to be .... anything could happen and things could change ....

the soty party is supposed to be next week so I imagine that it will be announced soon ....

but I will say that none of you guessed it right ....

Wes or Torey. Nyjah will only get it if they just decide to make him SOTY. All Nyjah does is win contest and drop videos right before voting.

I'd personally love to see Ben win. His old school approach and ability to turn anything into a trick makes him a complete joy to the soul to watch.

Torey not only dropped an amazing part this year in the Plan B video, but the man also placed well in contests and gave back to the skateboard community with skateable art with the Red Bull Skate Space. He has certainly earned his nomination and I would not be surprised if he won.



This is however Thrasher so we might as well just congratulate Westgate.
