If they had kept that in mind I think the franchise might have been better off.
I think they took one crazy idea and ran with it in 2 and 3.. making small additions.
Don't get me wrong I've come to find my way around the franchise but certain things could've been smoother..

grind balancing of Thrasher
Manual balancing of THP8 (with the bar turned off so you have to watch how the skater is leaning)
The smoothness of the OG engine and the quality of the OG city
With all the features of Skate 3;
Reverts, Footplants, Boneless and Hippie jump Physics from skate 2
