Any of you guys going to see them on tour? I read Pat Graham's twitter and he said for the practice they were playing songs that haven't been heard live in ten years.

Too be honest, the only Modest Mouse I've listened to is the song on RB2 and GH:WT and I like it but I haven't really listened to their other stuff...

Haven't played rb2 but i know the song in GHwt is Float On which was like the one song that they had that was over played on the radio. They have a lot of good stuff i would suggest their old albums like The Moon and Antartica and The Lonesome Crowded West.

Modest Mouse has been in my head for about 8 years now... I love them, simply put.

The Moon and Antartica and The Lonesome Crowded West.

Those are their best albums imo.

Rather than make another thread, Saw them play in philly last night was just amazing. Setlist was insane they played Jesus Christ was an only child and Night on the Sun.

i used to really really like them, but like most bands, i feel their quality went down when they sorted out their personal problems. i know i know. same thing like how i think metallica was better when hetfield was always shitfaced.

modest mouse gives off musical equivalent, to me, of when you see a guy you used to party with all the time, and say "hey let me buy you a beer!" and he sternly says "i don't drink anymore."

lonesome crowded west, this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about, actually pretty much everything except the last 2 or 3, are tops in my book. it's probably me that changed but i can't really identify with it anymore.
