Just skate lakai's. Nothing else matters...
used to skate with these ones back in the days, since they werent too big or too thin for my taste
nowadays i got a old pair of Ellington`s from my brother to skate with
bought a pair of these for everyday life
Vans Type II
Only shoes I skate in...
Perfect feel and are real comfy too.
Hoodlum: Threat
I love skatebrands, but out of all the company's shoes I've skated (DC, DVS, Emerica, Adidas, eś) Nike has been the most comfortable. Even eś, which was my favorite "core", werent super comfortable to skate. I think the blazer is one of the most comfortable vulcanized shoes I've skated, plus they look good. Also, besides their high tech shoes, nikes aren't anymore expensive than any other skate shoe.ive never paid more than 80 bucks on a pair (koston 1s are worth every penny) as oppose to the near 90 dollars it cost me for a pair of accels.
HEY OM YEAH HOODLUM[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
I still wear DC all the time, and have since the brand started, granted I rarely step on a board anymore.
It seems to me that skate shoes lately are more about fashion and less about performance, but I'm judging that on their appearance.
Personally,I don't want any shoe that looks like somebody puked a bag of Skittles on it.
currently skating some, or i was before i snapped my board
HEY OM YEAH HOODLUM[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
yea i cant see myself spending more than a bill on some shoes, i only spent maybe 75 on the zoom fp and though it truly is one of the most durable shoes ive ever skated it still could of had more improvements. the janoskis i have now are comfortable as hell as well as the fps. i think nike is making its way to making a shoe that will last long and skate good but hopefully their price tag doesnt skyrocket with the shoe
IM A BOSS ASS BITCH
Only brands I ever wore were Airwalks or Vans, and I literally wore them down till either my actual toe was doing the popping or the shoes actually fell apart.
Don't know how it is ppl replace shoes now after a modest bit of wear n' tear but I guess these are different times.
No shit roke, like I said it's more fashion now...gotta look fresh
I remember having a pair of the Jason Lee Airwalks,by the time I threw 'em out they were 75% Shoe Goo.
I used to be butthurt about Nike. I just understood how sick their team is and how they run shit. SB is almost totally separately run from the normal Nike products. It's very skater-friendly, pretty close to a core brand now. Just like GONZ skates for Adidas and Koston rides for Nike. Shit is for real now. It was different many years ago when they were literally just making Dunks and calling them SB's.
