Nah, if you ever film with a VX sometime you'll understand how much awesome a VX is compared to a DVX haha. It's so simple and just sexy. The DVX does have better low-light, but I have a 126 LED light that's bright as fuck, so it doesn't even matter. The VX2000 is better in low-light than the VX1000 too.

And yeah watch for lens hits...that could fuck your VAP unit pretty bad. You should be fine though. Also I would recommend getting some spacers on that bitch to make the Opteka wider, that's what I do. It's the closest thing to having an MK1
