For me it's different. Zombies are cool, but the video games don't work and here's why:
Zombie stuff was originally created as a social commentary on the monstrous nature of PEOPLE in the face of danger and fear. Videogames remove any logical fear of the baddies, and thus the same feel cannot be generated.

And vampires. God I love vampires. I HATE bastardization of vampires. There's a difference. True Blood, Twilight, etc. etc. are BASTARDIZATIONS of what vampires are and were. Vampires are a remnant of Germanic mythological beliefs, not a romantic monster. Castlevania does it well.

Try DayZ or WarZ, it brings humans back into the equation, which makes it way more interesting than the zombieblasting games like codzombies..

also, the walking dead is kinda awesome, don't know how I like the new season though, everyone should read the comics though, they're way better than the tv series

i'm pretty much addicted to this franchise.i have only read maybe the first 5 issues of the comic,but i plan on catching up during the mid-season break of the tv show.
i like this season alot so far,much better than sitting on that farm looking for Sophie week after week.and the last episode of the game is out this week so i'm looking forward to that.
