I almost run out of space on my computer when I make a video 5 min+ Skate vid
and I have 400gb of space
Also, Cutting up the clip means editing it, rendering it, More time.. possible quality loss, just sayin.
I'll do it in the future though. Lookin forward to this.
that's true. it will take me maybe a few extra minutes to find and inster your clips tho. not too bad but its just something extra to take care of with a big community edit.

idk why, i guess in my head i thought they'd be separate. is it possible, when capturing the footy in the first place, to separate them. turn on skate, go to your reel then in the clip. hit record on your pc, press play in your clip. let it play, then stop the recording. save the file with an according name. then repeat for other clips. its a bit more work than how you did it but i always imaged that's how people recorded their clips from cap card. so its not one huge file with pointless menu footy in between. save space and more organized.

It is work, but I liked that idea.. Just more organized.
That's the first thing I actually tried to do with the dazzle dvc100.
Not sure about other capture devices but In my experience with this one
if I don't fuck around on the dashboard before I load the game up
it drops frames for whatever I'm capturing
and I had to change my career location in that capture because
my skate 3 disc is fucked and I have to dashboard if I'm in certain areas too long.
That's the reason my first two solos with the dazzle were choppy and lagging.
    It's stupid but whatever right..
just want to make videos when I feel like it and the dazzle enables me.

It lags for a while when I first start the capture is what I'm saying.
If I did it trying to cut out all the menu stuff it doesn't work.

dam that's weird. maybe start the capture and just wait a minute while in your clip. hopefully it will stop lagging. I dont know. I know that id like a cap card and I hope theres a better way of doing it lol

Yeah that's not a bad idea
The method I use has grown on me however
All you gotta do is drag down the capture footage to the place where sounds start happening
and then fine tune where the clip starts and ends.
I doubt it's that way for the pricey capture cards
The dazzle I have is not even really meant for how I and some other guys use it but it works
There's also a few things that factor in
    How good is your PC
What Kind of TV do you have
What file type do you capture to
    What do you render to
I'd guess they all take a bit of figuring out but the pricey ones have to be better than this haha
    But it's all good..
I'll cut it up next time but will likely stick to what I have figured makes it work before I do so.

I've never used a CAP card, but if I had one, I think Just Cause 2 would be awesome to play haha.

None, but when you're on a skater's block you can mess about with another game.
I for one still have fun with Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds, I don't care what anyone says.

pretty neat, but you still cant get nearly as artistic with something like that as you can with a fake skate edit
