Skateboarding should be for everyone to enjoy and needs to stay relevant in society. The more money that is pumped into skateboarding the better. Yes, the corporations may cheese it up a bit and produce stuff that is "lame", but there will always be that stuff anyways. There are basketball courts on every corner because basketball is fun, popular, and it generates a lot of business.
